MUSIC
“Around The World”- Kings Of Leon
My corner, you’ll find me every day
The boys come out
That’s where we like to play
Gonna tag along, I’ll set the way
Gonna try to get high
What price you gonna pay

Been around the world, been around the world
The stormy gates and the maiden pearl
All around the world, all around the world
I lost myself and found a girl

Keep dancing, like its ya last time
We’re so thin ice, swimming in july
When the curtain falls, I’m on your seal
What sweet surprise, she said to me

Been around the world, been around the world
The stormy gates and the maiden pearl
All around the world, all around the world
I lost myself and found a girl

Take it all the way, take it all the way
All the way

All around the world, all around the world
I lost myself and found a girl

ENGLISH VIDEO CLASS
English Grammar: Fix your double negatives!
Video: https://youtu.be/cqcEEFiZFfU
Using double negatives in English can make you sound uneducated or unclear. I’m going to teach you how to avoid these common mistakes.
Though double negatives are often used by native speakers, they are slang and they are grammatically incorrect.
As an English learner it is important to understand slang, but you shouldn’t try to use incorrect grammar, especially in cases like this where it can make people think you mean the opposite of what you want to say!

I’ll show you examples of some of the most common double negatives that English learners and native speakers use.
You’ll learn how to correct these mistakes so that your English is clear and correct.

IDIOM OF THE WEEK
above board
Meaning:
If something is above board, it’s been done in a legal and honest way.
For example:
I’m sure the deal was completely above board as I know James well and he’d never do anything illegal or corrupt.
The minister claimed all the appointments were above board and denied claims that some positions had been given to his friends.
Origin: Possibly derived from card playing and the fact that card players who keep their hands above the table (or above “the board”) can be seen to be playing honestly, without cheating.
Quick Quiz:
The government officials are being investigated for corruption. If everything they’ve done has been above board, they’ll have

a. a lot to worry about
b. nothing to worry about
c. something to worry about

READING AND LISTENING
We begin with bad news for people who bought a wearable fitness tracker in hopes of losing weight. A new study finds the electronic device probably does not help with weight loss. The study was a project of researchers from the University of Pittsburgh in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Fitness trackers are designed to record your physical activity. They are usually worn around the wrist, where they measure a person’s heart rate.
