Alexa Chung might just be the kale of the celebrity world. She's hip and trendy, pretty wholesome, people love her, and she's having a major moment that's lasting a little longer than some might have expected. So she seems like the perfect fit for the face of Nailkale, the new kale extract-infused line from Nails Inc that will launch in the UK in August and stateside in September. Just look how good she looks resting on that bed of leafy greens for their new campaign.

Nails Inc naming a new spokesperson (Chung replaced fellow 'It Brit' Poppy Delevingne), repackaging its products, and the launching of Nailkale, as well as another line created in collaboration with Chung, are all in celebration of the brand's 15th anniversary, reports Vogue UK. Also, four of their bestselling shades will be newly enhanced with the same kale extract.

When we reached out to NAIL INC, they were unable to give us a comment on the benefits kale extract will have on our nails, but if it's in any way similar to all the good stuff the popular green does for our body, we're totally on board. In fact, we hope this whole superfood-makeup mashup takes off: goji berry blush, chia seed faux eyelashes, quinoa lipstick, nut butter bronzer, anyone?
